Malta Travel Photographs
Malta has two official languages; Maltese and English. Despite Maltese being the official one, English is the one seen on most of the lovely old shop signs I found the most photogenic. The tiny island country is only 17 x 9 miles.
Republic of Malta
Technically Malta is known as the Republic of Malta and lies between Tunisia and Italy. The capital is Valleta, where we stayed. Perched on the top of one of Malta’s many hills, we had the viewpoint to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Carmelite Church – with the distinctive domed roof seen in the slideshow.
Practically every narrow road has a huge hill in it, a church, and half a dozen old, run-down shops, making Malta a great place to just wander round.
